Personal Statement
At a young age I showed talent for painting. I stayed with visual arts through grade school and eventually founded a company with my brother that leveraged my visual talents. We created a longboard company and offered custom boards each of which I designed and hand painted. Founding this company introduced me to graphic design, product design, marketing, and fabrication.
As an undergraduate I contributed to many projects at the ArtSciLab. In the lab I met a diverse group of people from many different cultures, countries, and life experiences.
